Our store offers products that assist women throughout all phases of their post-mastectomy treatment and recovery. After mastectomy surgery you will be required to wear a mastectomy post-surgical bra. We carry compression garments, from our post-surgical camisoles and bras for use right after breast surgery Compression Vests and bras offer coverage of your breasts, back, and underarm tissues. Compression garments help prevent swelling and fluid build up as you heal. The right surgery vest or bra holds your skin in place and prevents shifting around your sutures.
Second Stage of Mastectomy Recovery
For the 2nd stage of recovery we carry products, such as external breast forms for post mastectomy swimsuits or post mastectomy bras, when reconstructive surgery is not selected. Pockets are sewn into the post mastectomy swimsuits and mastectomy bras, to insure that the breast form fits properly. There are weighted and non-weighted post mastectomy prosthesis or post mastectomy breast forms for your balance and comfort. Garments are designed specifically for accommodating the post mastectomy breast prosthesis and it is important that the pockets, that are sewn in to accommodate the breast form or breast prosthesis, fit properly against the chest wall.
