Bruising and swelling are common side effects of many cosmetic procedures. Whether it is a surgery, like blepharoplasty or rhinoplasty, an injection of a dermal filler or Botox, a vascular laser treatment, or liposuction, the trauma caused by the procedure can generate extravasated blood and a pooling of fluids that cause bruises. The extravasated blood ultimately converts to hemosiderin, which will stain the area and leave a visible bruise. The other fluids cause swelling that can also increase the visibility of the bruise. The ideal post-procedural treatment needs to aid in both conditions.
Auriderm Post-Op Gel, with 2% Vitamin K Oxide in a patented nanosome delivery system, significantly reduces the severity of a bruise by blocking or reversing the formation of hemosiderin. The Gel 10 gram size is ideal for its short term application over a minimal area. Application is twice daily and can begin prior to the procedure or immediately aftewards.
For best results, first application should be immediately post-procedure, being careful not to get an into stitches or open wound. Thereafter, cleanse the skin and apply Auriderm Post-Op Gel liberally to affected areas twice daily, morning and evening.
