tiny tear occurs in a capillary or artery beneath

the skin’s surface. Without proper treatment, these small tears

will bleed and worsen in appearance. Spider veins

usually appear on the face, neck, upper arms or thighs

and are often characterized by small round, red spots

with tiny veins radiating outward.
